Haygood Child Development Center (CDC) is a full-day, 7:30 am – 6:00 pm program that provides academic instruction and age-appropriate activities in a warm, nurturing environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.

The CDC is recognized by the State of Georgia as a licensed early learning center. We use the Georgia Early Learning Standards to guide each child’s learning and development. Recognizing that each individual’s approach to learning is different, the program’s goal is to form a solid foundation for lifelong education and growth that builds and strengthens each child’s cognitive, emotional and social development.

Classrooms are based on age-level specifications to ensure the most appropriate curriculum. In creating classes, much consideration is given to boy/girl ratio, birth dates and developmental needs of the children, to create a well-rounded learning environment.
