Spanish has been part of the Haygood Preschool curriculum for almost a decade. The curriculum has evolved throughout the years and is individualized for our different age groups. Spanish instruction is given once to twice weekly for the Threes/Young Fours class and the Pre-K class depending on class schedules during the academic school year. The children learn about Spanish language, culture and food in a circle time environment. This opportunity exposes our children to other cultures and language which will be beneficial to them as they continue their education beyond Haygood.
